I am on h1b and priority date June 2016. I am planning to change the job, which would need to start the entire green card process (yes I can retain the date 2016), which takes about 2 years. Is it advisable to change the job or stay with current employer until at least EAD comes.
I would advise you to stay at least until December 2026 to see the progress of filling if it’s not a must to move.
